safe and sound, but my butt hurts!

Hey guys, seem like my blog has been dusty for while!
and now I am back connected and ready to start blogging again!

I wanna firstly say that, I have arrived safely in Finland! Woooraaaay!
however, one of my frikken luggage is lost somewhere in the world! LOL. and I can't upload any pictures because i don't have the cable for it, so you guys have to patient until 5 days or so... fully sucks, my blog is gonna be lifeless. =D ( gonna stick with google images! ) ---> thats how I looked like for 30mins in Vantaa Airport. rofl.

Well anyways, it was nice to see my friends came to farewell me in ChCh airport on Saturday! Nick, Toby, and Sala. Unfortunately Sala is known to be late in these critical moments, and my thought was spot on, he did came late, So I didn't get to say goodbye to him. hahaha ( although he made it when I just got on the plane ).
Honestly, the farewell was ended in tears =(.

The first flight to Australia on Qantas Airline, wasn't so bad. The only movie showing was "Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps", argh about stock brokers, wasn't so interesting.
Sydney Airport was bigger than what I was expected to be and very bright, because of white walls.
Sadly, I only had 10mins free WiFi because of my flight.



The flight to Singapore for stop over, the 7 hours flight was a tiring one.. firstly, my butts hurt, and I never got the chance to get any sleep at all! I don't like those economic seats, super close together haha.
The gay Stewart had the nice manners towards me, or was he flirting? I am not sure but gay Stewart is way better than woman Stewart. ( I am fully straight ).
Got to Singapore about 12am and waiting for one and a half hour was a tough battle for me.. I tried to go sleep but I was too scared I will be sleeping during boarding time.
argh.. this flight to London from Singapore was the worst of all! It taken me about 14 hours to get there, but glad I got some sleep, still my eyes were red though, I watched couple of movies. Salt, Toystory 3, Killers, Tomorrow When the War Began, Big Bang Theory, Two and a half man.

The first impression about the London, Heathrow Airport was the SIZE. Wow, it was so big, every corner there were shops.. when I arrived there it was 7am in the morning, i walked around, wasn't many people. Omg I paid 2 pounds for 20mins to use internet.. super scam! no free WiFi! Sh#t service!!
after I fell asleep on one of those couches, when i got up at 9am, I was so surprised I thought it was a dream. There were just so many people walking around.. It turn out completely busy! I wonder how busier it gets around 12pm! I bought some earrings there and things are relatively cheaper than Finnish products but unfortunately no cash for me, well only 20pounds. They didn't sell any stamps. What the?! 
Anyways, I killed my 6 hour of waiting time by watching a movie on my laptop "Knight and Day" not a bad movie, looks so fake though. haha

Gah, almost there guys, don't sleep yet by reading this blog, I know I would!
I had to go outside and catch the bus to my airline.. and damn, it was so cold, I was only wearing thin clothings, and this chick at star bucks said, " Are you tryna be Michael Jackson?" What the hell is that mean..? =D
anyways, the flight sucks, this airline wasn't so.. comfortable hahah and very crowded.. So glad another gay Stewart again, he always took care of my needs. LOL.
Love seeing Finnish forest on the plane, it's so beautiful. I'll show you pictures soon ok??

Finally, I arrived in Vantaa Airport at 4.45pm. When through the boarder and then boom! My luggage is missing, good one! I hope it comes soon because most of my clothes is in there..

Monday tomorrow, I wish to see my beloved friends :)) then I am gonna work hard, I also have to brush up on my Finnish. Someone help me!

Thats insane! and when i watched it i laugh so much.. this guy sounds really high. hahaha but really hes very inspiring and the rainbow actually looks cool!

I wanna go to this/that place!!

Hey, so I read my Finnish guide book today and I picked up some interesting things and places to go to in Helsinki.
I found theres alot of little islands in Helsinki which you can freely go to (you still have to pay for the boat to go there though).
Firstly, I wanna go to Suomenlinna island to discover the forgotten history and grab lunch at an island restaurant before going back to town :).
Then I'd like to go to Kiasma, after that I'd definitely want to go to the Stadium Tower and take some good pictures of the whole city.

There are several parks and gardens in Helsinki, which are City Winter Gardens and Kaisaniemi Botanical Gardens, I like gardens =D
I really have to visit the famous amusement park Linnamäki and the aquarium Sea Life.
Theres also Helsinki Zoo which is best to reach by ferry, but I'd rather go to Zoo or parks in spring or summer time, those seasons are the best mood to go zoo or parks and eat freshly chilled banana ice cream! Yuuum~

I picked up on some nice bars in Helsinki, and I am rather very, I mean extremely disappointed that I will not get the chance to go to the Arctic Icebar, everything inside is literally carved out of ice including tables and bar! The temperature inside is 5C and you can get to wear those furry capes haha. it would be so nice to visit but the minimum age is 24 so.. i have to wait few more years. SIGH. 
Lets hope I could get into Swedish Ice Hotel!


Gah, there are so many places.. and many things to list, but for now these are enough. If anyone has any recommendation of places to go the  hola at me! Anyone keen to go with me? :D

Sad Day

Hello, It's been since last time I post something here on my blog. Sorry for the wait guys! or anyone at all.. :D
Well I haven't been particularly busy but yesterday I went to tennis with my mum. Oh I win of course! although, my tennis skill is awsome shit.. Does anyone wanna play against me in Finland? 

It's rainy day again.. it seems like Tuesday is always the day that rains. Rain doesn't get me any tan, my hair gets ruined and it doesn't even give fresh water. The rain drop could be evaporated from an estuaries, and thats yuck for sure. :))

So, I decided to read a book later, but for now I should watch those DVDs I hired last week.. I only got to see one movie which was I Love You Beth Cooper, my hunger for watching DVD is gone since last Wednesday so I have to return it tomorrow LOL. Its okay I ripped them already into my hard drive. -- I know its illegal but I am flying away soon, catch me if you can :p

OMG, Shortland Street is back!! I Love this kiwi drama! Finally comes back since mid December.. I missed it and I love it. I watch it everyday! I hope I can still watch it on internet while i'm in Finland.. Oh, if you don't know it heres the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shortland_Street.

One of those days..

Firstly, I wanna pray for people in Brisbane, Australia. The flood is terrible over there, hope god helps them all in need.

Well, today.. I was meant to wake up at 9Am so I could go see the movie Tron Legacy 3D at 11AM with my little brother, got my alarm clock sorted the night before and I fell asleep after snooze! I am still in my lazy mood someone should yell at me for that. Anyways I woken up at 10Am, I looked outside, "great.. its raining". So my whole day plans has been ruined! maybe ill go see the movie next Tuesday when its cheap.. I am very sensitive of spending money right now, I wanna buy more clothes from H&M or something :D

So, I am at home again.. nothing so much to do..I looked in my fridge and there's some left overs from last night.. I don't really favour the left overs, I decided to make some fried noodles and have some vegetables for a change Ahaha.

Today, was rather cold for New Zealand summer.. well I guess its just Christchurch, whenever there's no sun, the temperature suddenly drops to 9 or 12C.
Tomorrow or today since its 12.50Am I should read my Finnish guide book I bought it from Whitcoulls and mark where I wanna go to museums, parks, zoos etc etc. anyone wanna recommend me where to go ill make up a list of it. :)
oh and I should start leaning one Finnish phrase everyday. Starting from... tomorrow! I am too lazy =DD

First post ever, please be nice ;D
Yay, finally everything is ready to go! I have my travel insurance, Finnish visa, passport and my E-ticket! Ive been waiting for my Finnish visa for long time! (since November). but I still have to wait for the "day" to depart from New Zealand which is killing me already, I just wanna get out there, explore and work more because this summer holiday has been a lazy one for me =/ but I was gladly to spend  summer Christmas time with my mother, brother, sister, bother-in-law and my niece. That day it reached to 26C!!


My flight schedule goes from Christchurch --> Sydney --> Singapore --> London --> Helsinki!
It would be cool to stay in Australia for day or two but I'm gonna have way too luggages because of my winter clothes, I heard Finnish winter is the coldest in century right now with loads and loads of beautiful fresh snow everyday! ( I wonder if you can get good arm muscle from shoving off snow on walking pathways..I must try and see if my hypothesis is right) Too bad I'm not gonna see the real Australian koalas or kangaroos, but I hope when I come back I will stop over in Sydney or Japan (shopping spree..AGAIN).

P.s My flight date is still anonymousness to my fella Finnish friends ;) I'm sorry but you just have to wait and see when I'm in Kamppi or something. Haha
